About Arrow

Arrow International, Inc. combines technology and product innovation to extend the use of catheterization for the diagnosis and treatment of critically ill patients. Arrow disposable critical care catheterization products are used principally to access the central vascular system for administration of fluids, drugs and blood products. These products are also used for patient monitoring and diagnosis. Market studies indicate that Arrow is a leading supplier of central vascular access catheterization products worldwide.

The Company's Cardiac Assist Division is keenly focused on mechanical devices that support the heart such as Intra-Aortic Balloon (IAB) Pumps and Catheters. The IAB devices are short-term assist devices. Arrow's technology is uniquely positioned to benefit the growing number of heart failure patients.

Arrow's 8 guiding principles:

  • Never compromise on quality
Whether it's a design feature, a quality procedure or the choice of supplier, never cut corners if quality will suffer. Our customers and the patients they care for expect the best quality we can provide.
  • Develop a profound understanding of the customers' needs -- then give them more than they expect
Exceeding customer expectations: This is the path to success. It is the path we are committed to follow.
  • Work smarter to drive better value
Take the time to do things right -- always. Value is defined by delivering the optimal customer benefits (understanding customer needs) for the lowest possible cost (operational efficiencies).
  • Develop a healthy obsession for safety
It's simple: Never stop thinking about it. Follow every procedure to the letter. Always protect yourself and those you work with.
  • Solve problems with passion
Get to the heart of what the real problem is before you try to solve it. Don't be afraid of tough questions, unusual solutions or admitting "I don't know." And always give your best -- that is what excellence is all about.
  • Base decisions on data, not opinions
How do you know you've made the right decision? When it's backed by sound information derived from solid data.
  • Learn from diversity
From the wide range of expertise our people possess, to the traditions and heritage that defines us, Arrow is enriched by diversity. Respect it, and be open to it: You'd be surprised what you see from a different perspective.
  • Be honest and respectful, always
Bringing the Arrow's promise of excellence to life is a team effort that depends on trust and truth. So ask hard questions, but be willing to answer them too. Be fair and forthright. Ask for honesty from others -- and expect it from yourself.
